Smog in Louisville has unexpectedly reached into the very unhealthy range today, with an Air Quality Index of 201 at 6:30 p.m. By 7:30, that level had backed down to 174, still deemed unhealthy for all. This might not be a good evening to go for that 20 mile bike ride.
At 201, the EPA states: Health warnings of emergency conditions. The entire population is more likely to be affected.
